Membership Options

Full

Full membership of the Association shall be open to all individuals worldwide who have served, or are serving with, No 3 Squadron RNZAF in any capacity or rank. This category includes any RNZAF personnel who have served in the following units:

  • RNZAF Support Unit Singapore
  • RNZAF 141 Flight Singapore
  • Rotary Wing Aviation Unit – MFO Sinai

Associate

Associate Membership shall be open to those who have served or been associated with Rotary Air Units of any military force. This category shall also be open to those who, while not qualifying as Full Members, merit membership for reasons deemed worthy by the Association’s Committee and Members. This category may include but not be limited to, surviving spouses of ex-serving members and members of like-minded aviation groups. Admission to this category requires the approval of the Executive Committee.

Honorary

Honorary membership may be extended to those people who made a special contribution during their service to the RNZAF and/or New Zealand and to those persons whom the Association members believe merit Honorary Membership. Admission to this category shall be on the recommendation of the Executive Committee and the approval of members at a General Meeting

Life

Life Membership may be conferred on those whose services to the
RNZAF or to the Association merit special recognition. Admission to this category shall be on the recommendation of the Executive Committee and the approval of Members at a General Meeting.

Corporate

Corporate membership of the Association is available to any organisation that shares an affinity with No 3 Squadron. Corporate members are limited to a maximum of fifteen at any given time and will be adjudged on a first come first served basis.

What’s the process?

#1 - Request Membership

Request membership by filling out the form at the bottom of this page

#2 - Membership Approval

Your submission will be reviewed by the board, and you’ll receive confirmation within a few days

#3 - Payment

Once your membership has been approved, you’ll then need to make payment to finalise everything!

The annual subscription for membership is $20 but may be increased by the Committee and placed before the AGM for approval at a later date. Only Full and Associate Members will be required to pay a subscription.

The committee will have the authority to approve, refuse or cancel memberships as appropriate. A membership database will be maintained on this website. All member categories will have viewing access.

Members whose subscriptions remain unpaid 4 months after the due date shall automatically be excluded from membership privileges until such time as the fees are paid. The Executive Committee shall have the ability to reduce or waive a member’s subscription.
