The Association membership consists of past and present members of the Squadron. Anyone who has served or is serving on the Squadron or units associated with the Squadron is eligible to join. Joining details can be pound on the membership page.

This website also serves to provide an archive of stories and pictures about the unit and its members. The Blog and Gallery pages will be updated on a regular basis.

Regular events and reunions will be conducted by the Association. Check the Events page for upcoming activities and records from previous events

Our Objectives

  • Support past and present members of No 3 Squadron RNZAF
  • Provide a forum of mutual appreciation of historical and future No 3 Squadron RNZAF matters,
  • Maintain bonds between those who served and are serving with No 3 Squadron RNZAF
  • Disseminate news on No 3 Squadron RNZAF activities,
  • Preserve the memory of those who flew and maintained the Squadron aircraft and share those experiences with others,
  • Encourage links with other rotary squadrons and their bases around the world,
  • Provide a support network for members and surviving spouses.

Our history

No 3 Squadron has been in existence in various forms since 1928. Its rich history includes the formation of the Royal New Zealand Air Force the award of 5 Battle Honours in the Pacific theatre during World War Two and deployments to locations around the world in the ensuing years.
